Pray for Mike!

Print PDF

Hey everyone. We want to ask you all to pray for Mike Wilson (our speaker from YE) and his family - they have a very personal connection to what's happening in Haiti. Below are some links with more information, but here are the basics:

mikewilson

Mike and Missy have one daughter who left to serve as a missionary in Haiti for seven months just a week ago. She was in a town called Carrefour, which is also where the orphanage is that they are adopting a five year old girl named Tia from. The epicenter of the earthquake was just outside Carrefour.

Mike and his wife spent a very long night not knowing if either of the girls was alive. They finally were able to make contact - both girls are fine! Mike is now in Haiti trying to bring them both home. This is where the problem is - all of the paperwork they had completed to get Tia home has been destroyed by the earthquake. They need prayer that the U.S. Embassy will pull whatever strings they need to to allow Tia to come home to Nashville.

Please contact your friends and family, post requests to your Facebook account, whatever you can to get God's people praying for this miracle!

We'll update the ilstudentz.com page when we know what's going on.

Thanks!

Shawn and Grant
